| I worked 33 years as a hardware engineer for an international
computer company. With this job I had many opportunities to travel to
several countries for education. 1978 I was on a three year assignment
in Saudi Arabia. This experiences and my interest on traveling to other
countries gave me the incentive for my stories, and my job as trouble
shooter the spur for the riddles. End of 2006 I had the opportunity for an early retirement which I perceived. Some of the gained time I use now for my hobby. |

story and riddles

The idea write riddles associated with stories I had from an online criminal riddle, which is not on the web anymore. This kind of mystery fascinated me so much, I had to start my own page. Some of the riddles I have conceived on my own, others are copies of well known kind. Most of the pictures used on my pages are copies from the net, I tried not to offend copy rights. Nevertheless if this still is the case, I ask the originator to informe me and I will remove the picture. The story is fictitious, if there exist analogies to real live were not intended. | |||||||||
| Jacaranda | In 1971, I "emigrated" to South Africa. I worked there for one and a half years. The first thing I remember from this time, are the blooming Jacaranda trees I have seen on the drive from the airport to the hotel in Johannesburg. The present story I have not experienced myself. However I have tried to frame the story as realistic as possible. Details can still vary from reality for geographical or chronological reason. | |||||||||
